Your Role
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. We value proactive threat hunting and a deep understanding of compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Enforce compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA across the organization.
- Lead incident response drills and tabletop exercises to ensure preparedness.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure network architecture and cloud environments.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a related IT security role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or Bash) for automation and analysis.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
