Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and SOC platforms.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure.
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and coordinate recovery efforts with IT teams.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (NIST, HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Perform security architecture reviews and recommend remediation strategies.
- Train employees on security awareness best practices and phishing simulations.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and auditors to ensure continuous compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification required.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, SOC operations, or network security.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence and malware analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
