Your Mission
As a Senior Analyst, you will act as the guardian of our digital perimeter. You will lead incident response efforts, conduct deep-dive security assessments, and mentor junior analysts. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Manage firewall policies and configure intrusion prevention systems (IPS) to secure network traffic.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and internal security frameworks through audits and documentation.
- Develop and maintain security awareness training materials for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with automation scripting (Python or PowerShell) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
