Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and execute detailed incident response plans to mitigate breaches effectively.
- Enforce strict security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Lead security awareness training programs to educate employees on phishing and social engineering threats.
- Perform regular security audits and risk management analysis to maintain a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to executive stakeholders.
