Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, or LogRhythm).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and encryption standards.
- Perform regular security audits and risk analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CISM certification is required.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and automated response tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
