Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in network architecture.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation for legal and compliance audits.
- Participate in red team/blue team exercises and security awareness training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, LogRhythm, or similar) and endpoint protection (EDR) tools.
- CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
