Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct thorough threat hunting and forensic investigations to identify and mitigate active threats.
- Manage vulnerability assessments and coordinate patch management cycles to reduce organizational risk.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT engineering teams to design secure architectures and remediate technical debt.
- Present security findings and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or Information Security roles.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
