Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud architecture primarily on AWS and Azure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, optimize costs, and ensure high availability of cloud resources.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Troubleshoot complex cloud-native issues and drive root-cause analysis.
- Document architecture, processes, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, and Linux administration.
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Expert are highly preferred.
