Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement firewall configurations and IDS/IPS policies
- Collaborate with incident response teams during active threats
- Document security protocols and compliance reports
- Stay updated on threat intelligence and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
