Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on AWS or Azure.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes and improve release efficiency.
- Implement robust security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM) and compliance monitoring.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with DevOps and software development teams to drive technical innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or Solutions Architect.
- Deep expertise in AWS (or Azure) services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
