Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) using Terraform and IaC best practices.
- Lead the migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud, ensuring zero downtime and high availability.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and reduce operational expenses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Development, Security) to build CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Administration.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (Amazon Web Services) or Microsoft Azure, with a focus on architectural design.
- Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proven track record of implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems issues.
- Relevant cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) is highly preferred.
