The Role
As a Cloud Engineer, you will own the cloud infrastructure lifecycle. You will design solutions that scale, automate manual processes, and ensure the highest level of security and compliance for our data.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures using AWS or Azure.
- Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment.
- Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and implement cost-reduction strategies.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and reliability.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) or Azure services.
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and IAM policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
