Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture reviews, resource tagging, and reserved instance management
- Lead cloud migrations and modernization projects for enterprise clients
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Implement monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and incident response protocols
- Document cloud architecture and create runbooks for operational teams
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/Azure/GCP certifications
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS) and serverless architectures
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Understanding of security frameworks (CIS, NIST, SOC 2)
- Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
