Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Lead the migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud, ensuring zero downtime and data integrity.
- Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) and encryption standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and integrate new technologies.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure optimal uptime.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or software development.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Expert, or Google Cloud Professional are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to obtain a security clearance if required for government contracts.
