Responsibilities
- Design & Deployment: Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud resource usage and implement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, manage identity and access management (IAM), and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Collaboration: Partner with software developers and DevOps teams to integrate cloud services into applications seamlessly.
- Monitoring: Implement and manage observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) to track system health and performance.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Expertise: Strong proficiency in AWS or Azure with deep knowledge of services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and Kubernetes.
- Containerization: Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
