Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) using best practices.
- Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and database architecture.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for all cloud resources.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on cloud architecture patterns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Expert are highly preferred.
