Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
- Migration Strategy: Lead cloud migration projects from on-premise data centers to the cloud, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Automation & CI/CD: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and optimize costs and resource utilization.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security best practices, implement identity and access management (IAM), and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Collaboration: Partner with DevOps and Software Engineering teams to integrate cloud solutions into the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).
- Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- IaC Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Terraform or similar tools.
- Containerization: Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
