Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, high-availability cloud architectures on AWS and Azure
- Lead containerization projects using Kubernetes and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Optimize cloud spend through FinOps practices and continuous cost analysis
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
- Implement cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST) and compliance monitoring
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Document architecture decisions and runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS/Azure and hybrid cloud environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Bash and experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Understanding of network security principles and IAM best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
