As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of cloud infrastructure, from initial design to daily maintenance and optimization. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
- Automate provisioning and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, health, and cost metrics; implement optimization strategies to reduce cloud spend.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and software development teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and build reliability.
- Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex cloud incidents and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in AWS or Azure services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Load Balancers).
- Expertise in containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management tools and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts, IP addressing, and load balancing.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) and security protocols.
