Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Ensure cloud security compliance and implement best practices for data protection and identity management.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reduce latency.
- Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Conduct regular audits and capacity planning to ensure infrastructure meets business requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or a related DevOps role.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and DNS.
- Valid cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) is highly preferred.
