Responsibilities
- Architecture Design: Design, plan, and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Automation & CI/CD: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud resource usage and implement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA, etc.) within the cloud environment.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze system performance metrics and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaboration: Partner with development teams to integrate cloud services into existing applications and guide them on cloud-native patterns.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
- Core Technologies: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure as Code: Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash and experience with Terraform or Ansible.
- Networking: Deep understanding of networking concepts, VPNs, VPCs, subnets, and load balancers.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
