Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and security through continuous monitoring and automation
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab CI and container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Conduct security audits and compliance assessments (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for cloud operations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and relevant certifications
- Expertise in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure automation
- Strong background in Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
- Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code methodologies
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
