Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead complex cloud migration projects and optimize existing environments for cost/performance
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions for deployment and monitoring
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM, VPC design, and compliance controls
- Provide technical leadership for cloud architecture reviews and capacity planning
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for cloud operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS/GCP services
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) preferred
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Chef)
- Proven ability to design high-availability, disaster-recovery solutions
