Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms
- Lead migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture improvements and resource utilization strategies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Ansible for automated deployments
- Implement monitoring solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch for proactive issue resolution
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance container orchestration using Kubernetes and EKS
- Document architecture blueprints and operational procedures using Confluence and Lucidchart
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
- Knowledge of security best practices (IAM, VPC, encryption, compliance)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in production troubleshooting
