Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/Azure infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead cloud migration projects for enterprise clients with zero-downtime requirements
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through continuous monitoring and automation
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM, VPC design, and compliance controls
- Provide 24/7 on-call support with rotational schedule and incident response leadership
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS or Azure services
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Professional certification (AWS Solutions Architect/Azure Engineer)
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (CIS, SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud TCO by 20%+
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
