Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/Azure/GCP architectures using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs through rightsizing, automation, and FinOps practices
- Lead Kubernetes cluster deployments and management (EKS, AKS, GKE)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Ensure security compliance through IAM policies, VPC design, and security scanning
- Provide Level 3 support for cloud incidents and capacity planning
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Expert in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Advanced Kubernetes administration and container orchestration skills
- Strong networking fundamentals (VPC, VPN, DNS, load balancing)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Cloud security certifications (CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer)
- Proficiency in Python/Go for scripting and automation
- Strong problem-solving abilities with complex distributed systems
