Responsibilities
- Lead Architectural Strategy: Define and execute the technical vision for our 2026 infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements.
- System Optimization: Oversee the deployment and tuning of large-scale GPU clusters and distributed databases to maximize inference speed and training efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous innovation.
- Cloud & Edge Integration: Design hybrid cloud solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premise hardware with public cloud services to optimize cost and latency.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols and data governance frameworks to protect sensitive AI models and user data.
- Roadmap Execution: Collaborate with product managers to translate 2026 strategic objectives into actionable technical milestones.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in backend engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust, with deep experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- AI Expertise: Strong understanding of machine learning infrastructure, MLOps pipelines, and model serving frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex scalability challenges in high-throughput environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
