Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize state-of-the-art Generative AI models, including LLMs and diffusion models, to ensure high performance and accuracy.
- Develop and fine-tune pre-trained models on proprietary datasets to enhance domain-specific knowledge and reduce hallucination rates.
- Build and deploy robust Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to integrate external knowledge bases seamlessly.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and model evaluation to continuously improve inference latency and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and best practices.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and MLOps practices.
- Experience with model quantization, pruning, and deployment optimization for edge devices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
