Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and pipelines for production environments.
- Lead the architectural decisions for AI infrastructure, ensuring high availability, low latency, and security.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Product, Engineering) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Optimize existing models for inference speed and cost-efficiency using techniques like quantization and distillation.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP, Computer Vision, and Reinforcement Learning to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong experience with MLOps tools (Kubernetes, Docker, MLflow, Airflow).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
