Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the development of robust, scalable AI and machine learning infrastructure capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Model Strategy: Define the roadmap for deploying cutting-edge generative AI models, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and aligned with business goals.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a high-performing engineering team, conducting code reviews, architectural reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of AI research, evaluating new technologies like Transformers, Diffusion Models, and Reinforcement Learning to integrate them into our production stack.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Optimization: Drive MLOps initiatives to improve model training times, deployment pipelines, and system reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering and 4+ years specifically in AI/ML architecture and development.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong understanding of distributed computing systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Generative AI: Proven track record of working with Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, or computer vision models.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects from conception to delivery.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and performance.
