Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, robust AI architectures for the 2026 Horizon Initiative, focusing on deep learning and reinforcement learning.
- R&D Strategy: Lead the research direction, identifying emerging technologies and methodologies to drive innovation within the organization.
- Model Optimization: Optimize existing models for performance, latency, and accuracy, ensuring they meet enterprise-grade standards.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into feasible technical solutions.
- Prototyping: Rapidly prototype and validate new AI concepts to de-risk product development cycles.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; experience with distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, unstructured problems with innovative technical solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Innovation: Strong track record of publishing papers or patents in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
