Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python, Java, and microservices architecture
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS/Azure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via agile methodologies to deliver sprint goals
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Document technical specifications and contribute to architectural decisions
- Monitor system health and implement proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java with modern frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM PT) with reliable remote workspace
- Proven track record of deploying high-traffic applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
