Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Lead full-cycle development from requirements to deployment using CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Optimize system performance through database tuning and caching strategies
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Partner with product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Python/Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, Pytest) and TDD methodologies
- Experience with agile development and Jira/Confluence
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
