Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions using modern frameworks (Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via agile methodologies to deliver high-quality features
- Debug, optimize, and maintain existing systems while implementing security best practices
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through technical documentation
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical system incidents during night shift hours
- Drive innovation through continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Analyze system performance data to implement proactive improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Proven ability to deliver results in remote, asynchronous environments
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Must be available to work night shift (10 PM - 6 AM EST)
