Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues with minimal disruption to business operations
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust security protocols and threat mitigation
- Document network configurations, create SOPs, and maintain accurate system documentation
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for remote users across 50+ client locations
- Lead network upgrade projects including hardware refreshes and software migrations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certifications
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN protocols (IPSec, SSL), and SD-WAN technologies
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex routing/switching issues and network security breaches
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation and network management
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructure models
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification required
