Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with documented procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry regulations
- Document security incidents and provide executive-level summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in security operations, incident response, or threat detection
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network security, and endpoint protection
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting
