Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical computing solutions
- Conduct quantum risk assessments and mitigation strategies for enterprise deployments
- Drive quantum security protocols and post-quantum cryptography frameworks
- Partner with industry leaders to identify quantum use cases in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Develop quantum education programs and upskilling initiatives for organizational adoption
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial quantum application development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Proven track record of translating quantum concepts into scalable business solutions
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
