Responsibilities
- Lead breakthrough quantum algorithm development for real-world applications
- Design and optimize quantum circuits on next-generation hardware platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into production systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum error correction techniques
- Secure external funding through NSF and DoE grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proficiency in Python and low-level programming languages (C++, Rust)
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum processors
