Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and material science
- Lead experimental quantum hardware prototyping with superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Secure $2M+ in NSF/EU Horizon grants for quantum innovation projects
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Develop quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (≥5 papers)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency with cryogenic systems and quantum control hardware
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Track record of securing government research grants
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms (VQE, QAOA)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
