Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization and cryptographic applications

- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with quantum processor implementations
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives exploring quantum-adjacent technologies like neuromorphic computing
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at premier quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages and simulation environments
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Proven experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- History of securing competitive research grants or industry funding
