Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for commercial and research applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors with error correction protocols
- Collaborate with semiconductor partners to optimize quantum hardware fabrication
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and materials science
- Create security protocols for quantum-resistant blockchain networks
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting and ion-trap quantum platforms
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research funding
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
