Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum supremacy research initiatives
- Translate quantum theoretical concepts into practical commercial solutions
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-encrypted communication systems
- Drive patent development in quantum hardware-software integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, qubit manipulation, and cryogenic systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading quantum security implementations
- Strong background in machine learning/AI integration with quantum systems
- Certification in quantum hardware engineering from accredited institution
