Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging qubit topologies optimized for 2026-era applications
- Develop error correction protocols capable of maintaining coherence in large-scale quantum systems
- Create roadmaps for quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for drug discovery and materials science
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or supercomputing design
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Proven track record of leading technical projects with multi-million dollar budgets
