Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in quantum system development
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to integrate quantum solutions into existing infrastructure
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic computing)
- Secure patents for novel quantum algorithms and system architectures
- Mentor junior scientists and publish findings in leading journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development and quantum hardware integration
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system design
- Deep understanding of quantum annealing, superconducting, and trapped-ion technologies
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into commercial applications
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent quantum computing conferences
