Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits for NISQ-era applications
- Develop error mitigation protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for pharmaceutical R&D
- Collaborate with AI teams on hybrid quantum-classical models
- Document quantum architectures in patent-ready technical specifications
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging protocols
- Stay current with IEEE quantum computing standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design and optimization
- Published research in quantum error correction
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong knowledge of topological quantum computing
- Background in cryptography or machine learning
