Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Partner with semiconductor firms to create cryogenic control systems for quantum processors
- Develop quantum error correction protocols enabling 1000+ qubit stability
- Conduct research on topological quantum computing applications for 2026 use cases
- Secure government and private sector partnerships for quantum technology deployment
- Author whitepapers on quantum supremacy milestones and commercialization pathways
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and qubit manipulation techniques
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Mastery of quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Demonstrated ability to secure $10M+ in quantum computing research funding
- Strong background in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security protocols
