Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error-correction frameworks for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve NP-hard optimization problems
- Architect quantum communication protocols for secure distributed networks
- Create quantum machine learning pipelines for predictive analytics
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications in finance and healthcare
- Validate quantum solutions through simulation and hardware testing on D-Wave and IBM systems
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architecture design
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and quantum simulators
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and linear algebra
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in cryptography or machine learning preferred
