Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our dynamic team in Reno, NV. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects using JIRA and other ticketing systems.
- Perform manual and automated regression testing to ensure code changes do not negatively impact existing features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Verify user interface and user experience across various browsers and devices.
- Conduct smoke testing and sanity testing prior to deployment.
- Stay updated with testing best practices, methodologies, and tools.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation and querying.
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
