Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with product managers and developers to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new features and releases.
- Execution & Reporting: Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test scripts to verify product functionality and performance.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing on existing systems to ensure that recent code changes have not negatively impacted functionality.
- Automation: Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Work with stakeholders to validate that the software meets business requirements before deployment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one automation tool (Selenium, Cypress, or Appium).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Tools: Experience using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
