Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and technical specifications to design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated testing across various platforms (Web, Mobile, Desktop) to ensure product stability.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA, prioritizing them for the development team to resolve.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand root causes of defects and verify fixes.
- Perform regression testing to ensure recent code changes have not negatively impacted existing functionality.
- Maintain and update the test environment to simulate production-like scenarios accurately.
- Provide detailed bug reports and recommendations for UI/UX improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a QA Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, life cycles (SDLC), and best practices.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus but not required.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively document findings and interact with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
